American Legion on Stock Island. County music every Saturday night with George Wright, featuring Wally Hill on harmonica. 6 ‘til 9pm.
Big Uns Sports Bar Right in the middle of the action at 218 Duval Street.
MUSIC THIS WEEK: The Killer Dudes play Wednesday through Saturday 8:30 ‘til 11:30.
B.O.'s Fish Wagon Locals know this funky place on the corner of Caroline and William. But if you're from out of town, you gotta go here just to say you've been. B.O.'s square grouper sandwich is famous around the world. On most Friday nights. Barry Cuda rolls in his piano about 6, invites a few musical friends and boogies for a couple of hours.
Bottle Cap Lounge One of the oldest and most famous watering holes on the island. A block off Duval at 1128 Simonton Street.
MUSIC THIS WEEK: Raven is back on Thursday nights, starting at 10. Live “Kool and Jazzy” music on Wednesdays. This week, bassist Lonnie Jacobson joins Tim Alpine on guitar, crooner Peter Diamond and Matt Watson on drums.
The Bull One of Duval Street's last open-air bars, actually
three bars: The Bull on the first floor, the Whistle on the second
floor and the clothing-optional Garden of Eden on the roof. Live music

day and late into the night.
Capt. Tony's Saloon A Key West landmark at 428 Greene Street, just off Duval. Since the 1850s, the building has been an ice house, a telegraph station, a cigar factory, a bordello and a series of bars, including the original Sloppy Joe's. This is where Hemingway drank 1933-37. The legendary Capt. Tony Tarracino, a charter boat captain and a former gunrunner, bought the place in 1958. Tony was the Mayor of Key West 1989- 1991. Live music every day from noon.
MUSIC THIS WEEK: The Carl Peachey Band is the house band and they’re on stage Friday and Saturday, starting at 9. Sunday night: Gary Hempsey from 8:30.
Conch Republic Seafood Company On the water at Key West's Historic Seaport. Probably one of the biggest bars in town. Live music every night and mid-afternoon music on the weekends.
Cowboy Bill's Honky Tonk Saloon Duval Street's only Country Bar. 610 Duval Street. Live music Wednesday through Saturday nights from 10. Ladies drink free Wednesdays 9-11. Sports venue, too. Come ride the bull.
Learn line dancing Tuesday nights 7 to 10pm - a ton of fun!
MUSIC THIS WEEK: Lee Travis & the Bounty Hunters will be on the main stage Friday, Saturday and Sunday, starting at 10. On Saturday night, Filthy Gorgeous will be on stage in the new Duval Street bar, starting at 9:30.
El Alamo The newest live music venue on the island. Located on Charles Street, just across Duval from Sloppy Joe’s.
MUSIC THIS WEEK: On the main stage tonight and tomorrow night, Friday and Saturday, November 20- 21, is Yvon & Toko, 9-2. The Three Legged Men are in the house on Thursday, 9 ‘til 1.

Gardens Hotel Live jazz every Sunday evening 5 ‘til 7:30.
Green Parrot Bar A Key West landmark since 1890. A favorite of locals and visitors alike. But even regulars were mystified when, in May 2000, Playboy magazine named the Parrot one of the 24 Best Bars in America. We don't make this stuff up. Located on Whitehead at Southard, just a block off Duval, this is the home of great drinks and bad art and one of the top venues for live music on the island.
MUSIC THIS WEEK: Braille Blues Daddy Bryan Lee returns to Parrot for four shows, starting with a 5:30 “sound check” this afternoon, Friday, November 27. Then he returns 10pm shows on Friday and Saturday; and then a 5:30 “sound check” on Sunday afternoon.
Half Shell Raw Bar A classic Key West eatery right on the water at the Historic Seaport. Caffeine Carl and the Buzz rocks the house on Wednesdays and Fridays, 5-7pm.
Hogfish Bar & Grill Funky waterfront venue on Stock Island. Maybe the best hogfish sandwich in the world!
MUSIC THIS WEEK: Terry Cassidy will be entertaining tonight, Friday, November 27, 6 ‘til 10; and CW Colt will be in the house Saturday, 6 ‘til 10.
Hog's Breath Saloon Another top music venue here. Live music every day from 1pm. Duval and Front street.
Hurricane Hole Just on the other side of the Cow Key Channel Bridge. Live music on weekends.
La Te Da Famous Duval Street music and show venue. Info: 296-6706 x10. 1125 Duval.
Lighthouse Court Texas singer-songwriter Kelly McGuire and his friends are entertaining at the pool bar this weekend, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, November 6-8. Showtime is 2 ‘til 5 on Friday and Saturday and noon ‘til 5 on Sunday.
Margaritaville Jimmy Buffett's place, but he doesn't hang out here much any more. Live music nightly except Monday. 500 Duval Street.

Rum Barrel A popular restaurant, bar and music venue at the corner of Front and Simonton

Schooner Wharf Bar Another top music venue. Famous mostly-outdoor bar located right on the water at Key West's Historic Seaport at the foot of William Street. Voted Best Locals Bar six years in a row. This must be the center of the universe, wrote newsman Charles Kurault.
MUSIC THIS WEEK: The Ben Robinson Band returns to the Schooner tonight and tomorrow night, Friday and Saturday, November 27-28, 7 ‘til midnight.
Shrimp Shack A funky new waterfront venue at the end of Front Street on Stock Island.
Sloppy Joe's One of the most famous bars in the world. This was Hemingway's favorite bar in the 1930s. Right in the heart of the Duval Street action, at Greene Street. Live music every day from noon ‘til late.
MUSIC THIS WEEK: Modern Bliss is on the big stage every night through Sunday, starting at 10.
Staccato’s The new Thursday night jazz venue at the pasta Garden at Duval Square.
Sunset Pier Talk about “on the water!” This venue, part of the Ocean Key Resort at Zero Duval, is actually on a big pier that sticks right out into the ocean. Live music most nights. Daytime entertainment starting at 1pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
LIVE MUSIC: Robert Albury, Key West’s own King of Soul, will be on stage Friday, Sunday, Monday and Wednesday, starting at 5. Coming December 7 and 8: Free concert starring The Soular System. Show times 8pm. Info: 305-295-7047.

I AM TRYING TO FRIEND, JOE JARKA, WHO PLAYS PIANO. HE MOVED THERE AWHILE BACK TO PLAY LOCALLY. CAN YOU HELP ME? HE WAS PLAYING AT SAVANNAH SMILES IN SAVANNAH, A DUELING PIANO BAR. THEN HE TOOK OFF FOR KEY WEST.

When friends come into to town they always ask me to take them to Karaoke, I don't know of any except for Two Friends Bar and mgmt there, sucks.
anyone know any good Karaoke without having to go up the Keys?

I believe Captain Harvey's Runaground still does Karaoke from 7-11pm on Friday nights.
